available in Korea.

Hang on, are you saying you can't get butter in Korea?

Mashed potatoes, gravy, steak pie, and a pint...life's good!

If you need any suggestions or help making flaky pastry, just shout out. It's just flour, butter, salt, a cold room, and icy water...but, good flaky is a bit of trial and error.

If we ever went back, which won't happen, this is what I'd do. Open a samgyeopsal restaurant. Are there many, or any, around?
The last time I was back in NZ, I counted about 4 Korean restaurants in Christchurch, none doing this...all were kimbap and bits and pieces.

There are a lot of Korean restaurants in Christchurch now. Been to one called Gangnam that does really good basic bulgogi but their bibimbap is pretty meh. Air fryer samgyeopsal at home is pretty great though.

Made a cracking bacon, egg, tomato and onion pie last night. The difference being, I added cream to the egg mixture, and beat. Superb rich pie! Never tried it before, but will again. Sorry, as promised...no photos.
