Owning a car - is it worth it?
I’m considering buying a car, but I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth the financial hit.
I’m out in the countryside, in a small city and the bus service is okay, but not amazing. I’ve been here a year and I haven’t seen any of the surrounding countryside due to the intermittent buses.
I’m here for another year with my wife and think a car would help us see more of the country and save time, but I want to hear if others have found it to be worthwhile. Our main goal in coming here was to save, but it has been tough to be so confined to poor bus routes.
