Makes you wonder if it's really worth it to stay here and keep teaching anymore with all this disrespect? I remember when schools let me go out at lunch to the bank or whatever with no fuss and still go home at 4:30. Why do they have to become such assholes? China, Vietnam, etc is looking good for more money and less BS in their public schools. Many even advertise no desk warming and give you the whole summer vacation off (though at reduced pay). Still, with no pay raise to the contracts for years since at least 2009, they shouldn't be putting more and more lame and stupid rules on us. It will be time to go unless they smarten up. Pay me more to put up with their BS or back off and reduce the stupid rules.Once Covid is done, Korea is going to be in for a surprise.

I've been here over a decade. My name goes back years on Daves. 74 was the only thing I could choose (not my age - ha ha). I learned of waygook and carried the name over and then carried it over here. I quit Daves a few years back. But have recently rejoined weigook744. I hope this site will be good for chatting about Korea and teaching. Let's use dave's servers for politics, world events, other countries, etc. We'll save these servers for local stuff.I got blocked apparently for contributing lesson plans over the years. But, the text books are changing and waygook will be sol. As for the rest of it, I have tons of random lessons from waygook downloaded and saved into files over the years. So, who needs them? I will never join that site again. (Though sometimes, I sneak a read and would like to tell a couple of trollers in my absence to stuff it. But no biggie.)I'm down far south. I'm 30;s something. So, is that an old teacher? Perhaps. I have a lot of experience here and not many things excite me the way they would a newbie. (I prob stayed too long.) But, most days, I still like it here. About the only things I can't stand are the heat and driving here.
Congradulations from me and hangook77. Got to use this more and more. I am glad you have new books here. I have spread the word. I had to join that other site. But I am hoping after a year, telling them to stuff it and stay only with this one. If you ever seek voluntary paypal donations to build this into something, don't hesitate to ask.

I just joined this site as some losers on waygook (D.L. Orean and some others) keep talking about it and a past user named "waygookin" or something. I contributed most of my stuff to that site. I don't use a cloud, but maybe will in the future and upload here. Anyways, keep on trucking and if you are reading troll (you know who you are), keep trying....As for the rest of you, nice to meet you.
