What offensive thing could Marti possibly have said that didn't get him booted that he hasn't said before?  Did he say something derogatory about Van's cats? 

Us lowly Lvl 1s don't have the ability to ban or delete accounts.

I think the powers-that-be noticed that certain posters were taking up more than their fair share of bandwidth and performed emergency triage.
 Or maybe it might even have been at Mr.DeMartino's request -- maybe they're gunning for an image reboot!

Us mods can recommend a poster be banned and link posts as evidence.

95% of the time a PM warning and/or board directions to behave is enough (but 5% of the time... ESPECIALLY regarding respecting other posters and not repeatedly directing personal insults that become harassment: bullying is out; a safe environment for discussion is in).

If you feel personally offended repeatedly, choose one of the several MODs to PM (surely there's one you can trust), and they will try to ensure discussion is above the belt and neither offensive nor harassing.

CO2 was assaulted physically. The discussion of it has seemed to run its course here. Let's equally look out for those assaulted emotionally/mentally, especially repeatedly after those perpetrating it have been told of it.
