hagwon jobs in Busan?
« on: May 08, 2022, 08:38:06 am »
I would love to be in Busan near Gwangali, Geumjang-gu/PNU, Haeundae, or Myeondong but open to anywhere in the city. I've spoken to 4 recruiters, and only had 1 interview so far. Looking to start in Late Aug/Sept. I'd prefer a job that started a bit later in the day but totally flexible. I'm in the process of getting my degree apostilled and background check now. I have a degree in English, 6 months teaching experience, and I currently work as a reading tutor for young children.

Hi. How long do you think it's going to take to get your documents apostilled? We have a position in Busan for Early August.

I've been to Busan and I can confirm that not a single hagwon job exists there. Any offer in Busan will inevitably lead to a "Hostel" like situation.

You've been warned. Run, Rabbit. Run.

I got my TEFL here: https://www.teachaway.com/tefl-certification

you the new guy working for teach away?

i used them as a recruiter from canada in 2008,  then again in 2010.  they were excellent.  Back when you had to go into the Korean consulate in Toronto to get approved. I actually went into their offices in Toronto and personally thanks my recruiter.  Teachaway did a lot of work for me.
