What? Are you saying that you are even afraid to go HOME because of corona?

Also, I should add flights and other things are restricted.  Fly to Toronto then be stuck there having to bus it home (unless they are restricted too).  Takes a couple of days to get home.  Then going for days from east to west over land.  Plus mask wearing in some places still.  Easier to just stay put for now.
Happy Teachers Day to New Orleans.

All the fit and healthy people dying spontaneously from the vaccine, like my coworker's brother's friend, might create a teacher shortage.

Actually, fit and healthy people are more likely to die from the vaccine than sickly and unhealthy people.

A strong immune system gives a strong response to the vaccine.

Those bragging about not having had side effects from the vaccine - didn’t feel anything - are announcing their immune system isn’t that strong… meaning it’s lucky they got the shot.

Fourth and fifth doses are most useful for the oldest and sickest members of society.

When I read about old people in poor health not getting the vaccine for fear of dying from it, I shake my head in sadness. Those are the ones who need it most. And are least likely to die from it.

A UK friend teaching here felt like he was going to have a heart attack for a few days after and was quite worried after getting his booster.  Also, long term effects are still unknown.
