Asian countries don't give out citizenship like they do in the west.
The West doesn't give out citizenship either, well as long as the Democrats aren't in charge.
Korean residents in Canada denied service because they are Korean and not Canadian would bring on a major lawsuit.
https://fortune.com/2022/04/24/canada-housing-market-home-prices-ban-foreigners/Obviously the circumstances are not directly comparable as foreign workers are still able to buy houses (as in Korea), however Canada has acted to do something about a volatile sector of the economy they feel is being subject to foreign influence that is having or could have a negative result. Same with Korea.
There is no reason to exclude me from putting my own money into something I choose to.
Yes there is- Wanting to protect the domestic market from foreign manipulation or any unforeseen effects due to foreign destabilization.
Korea does not exist to serve the interests of foreigners. It exists to serve the interests of Koreans. Reminds me when they set up ATEK years ago to fight racism then half them pussied out and wouldn't push back at all.
ATEK folded because they were run by idiots who believed that attention-getting advocacy was the way to build a group, rather than delivering services to the group members. They chose a "flash in a pan" organizational model and concept and got a flash in the pan result.
Perhaps if they had focused first and building a cohesive membership through providing services to members, that would convince people to start paying them dues and provided services in return that made people have confidence in the group, they'd have set themselves up in a position to do something. However, they didn't. They thought b*tching and getting headlines was better than serving the people they claimed to represent.
