https://www.theguardian.com/science/2022/jan/18/nocebo-effect-two-thirds-of-covid-jab-reactions-not-caused-by-vaccine-study-suggests"More than two-thirds of the common side-effects people experience after a Covid jab can be attributed to a negative version of the placebo effect rather than the vaccine itself, researchers claim.Scientists in the US examined data from 12 clinical trials of Covid vaccines and found that the “nocebo effect” accounted for about 76% of all common adverse reactions after the first dose and nearly 52% after the second dose."
It's long been known that the placebo effect can actually *ameliorate* heart failure and other cardiovascular issues.By providing a supportive medical environment, one can actually reduce the effects of heart attacks and strokes completely independently from medication and other forms of active treatment.Interestingly, there is also a "nocebo effect" which does the opposite: people showing real side-effect symptoms despite not actually having been given real medication.https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0735109706026969This isn't really meant to be related to the vaccine discussion above, except to highlight that the mind can have a very powerful effect on the body: belief really *can* heal or harm. It's why most modern medical trials also include control groups in an attempt to filter out the effects of placebo/nocebo.
I'm surprised to see Jordan Peterson become so aggressively anti-vax. He has a massive audience. Hugely influential. Justin Trudeau wrote: "If you’re taking care of some last-minute Christmas shopping this week, here’s something else you can add to your list: a booster. If you’re eligible for one but haven’t gotten it yet, please, do so now. And if you don’t have your first or second dose, now’s the time to get it."Jordan Peterson replied: "Up yours @JustinTrudeau. Seriously. You'd have to kill me first."https://twitter.com/jordanbpeterson/status/1474595549177434117
A fancy way of saying it's all in their heads still doesn't make it true when they in fact did have it from the effect of the vaccines, especially when they weren't all previously claiming to be worried and fearful of it. This is still experimental no matter much you want to over explain and spin it.
I liked this postClean your room Jordon!

Did he get different brands? It seems strange the third one would cause a reaction like that.
