By the time you go to China they'll be speaking a different language.

I can't memorise all those funky alphabets. I've beeeen in Korea a long time and still trip up over hangoul!

You can communicate a vast amount with a smile a nod and a wink, and google translate if push comes to shove.

Chinese languages generally use ideograms, not an alphabet

Pinyin (the romanization of Hanzi) is pretty much phonetic. If you ever were to study Chinese, that's probably where you would want to start, I guess?

Always true. Charades can get a *lot* of meaning across!

I posted an interesting YouTube video.  If you want to learn it learn it.  If you don't then go do something else.  2022 or 2023 when covid is done and borders reopen, I am sure many will go to China for the better pay and work contracts.

Here's another video.
Question: Are you yourself watching and learning from these videos? Is this part of a broader Chinese study program for you?

Go on YouTube and type what you're looking for in the search bar, this isn't a difficult concept and most people have figured it out. You think someone's sitting thinking "I wish I could learn Madarin, let me check a Korean teacher's forum for some tips."

Get a girlfriend or something, my man. This shit's really getting sad.

I'm not sure if that was directed at me (love you all anyway), but the fraction symbol generator *would* actually come in handy every now and then!

Not everything comes up on the first page and certain ones can't be found without a multiple page search and some are better than others.  But you already know that.....
