Any Kitchen Nightmares fans here?

Nice,  that couple were legendary.  I liked that show along with Hotel Hell more than Hell's Kitchen.

Yeah.  Normally when the school calls the parent they have to go in.  They tried to keep her daughter after school and make her be in trouble with some punishment.  My sister said she did nothing wrong and they left.  Her daughter was back at school the next day no matter how much the libtarded teachers didn't like that.  They were hoping to shame or scold her or something.  But then they went and gave the power to the parents.  So their hands are tied.  Too bad for them.  Boo hoo.  If you can't understand it.  Then I can't help you.

If they didn't try to make her in trouble they wouldn't have kept her after school while calling her mother would they?  They lose.
"make her in trouble"--are you a native French speaker by any chance? Is that why you can't find a better paying job in SK?

I'm confident that if you took all the time and effort you've spent bitching about more money for position requiring an entry level bachelors degree over 15 damn years, you'd have a damn PHD by now and would be earning big bucks at some cushy university gig.

I arrived in 2014 and I, like many of us, spent the first year or two blowing money like a fool (no my parents weren't rich, I had expensive hobbies and liked travelling). It took 2yrs and a good woman by my side to get my head straight and think smarter with my money. 2yrs and I consider that long. After 15yrs it's not Korea's fault that you STILL haven't got your financial sh*t together and you studied business?!

The reason you keep getting renewed is that you're a predictable element in the education system. There's value in being predictable and there's some value to you, but not so much that you can't be easily replaced if you become anything more than mildly annoying to your school and/or POE.

If you're not willing to be at peace with this arrangement then improving your qualifications is the next logical step.

With better qualifications, you can demand more money.
Without qualifications, you can beg for more money.

It is only the most miserable underachievers that find themselves trapped by their inability to accept responsibility for their own poor choices and spend all day criticising/blaming others.

While I agree to a point with the last sentence here, it is harsh. There are a lot of African-Americans in the USA that would beg to differ.

The answers to profound problems are never facile, despite our (my) best efforts to make them so.

The inability to accept responsibility for one's failures or shortcomings is a clear sign of emotional insecurity/immaturity or Narcissistic Personality Disorder, as the inability to accept responsibility is a major symptom. We all possess some degree of narcism or insecurity, but when it becomes debilitating and/or dominates a big part of your life then you have issues.

I'm not going to single out a race of people, but those who live near the poverty line tend to have rough upbringings and/or circumstances. This greatly affects one's mental development and maturity. I will say that I believe mental issues are FAR more common and widespread, particularly in poorer communities.
