I really like Justin Trudeau. I also liked his father, Pierre Elliott Trudeau.

Politicians with an eye to the people and not deceptive, self-serving scum.

Really?  He hangs with the global elites and jet setting crowd while carbon taxing the poor and middle class into deeper poverty?  Daddy Trudeau ran Canada's economy into the ground.  He took a very low unemployment rate when he came in and left it very high for years due to his terrible economic policies.  Was the national unemployment rate 13 or 14 per cent or something like that when he left in 84?  It was around 2 or 3 per cent with plenty of jobs for everyone when he came in.  Like father, like son.  The dad at least did have some brains even if the wrong ideas.  The son has all the stoned ditziness of his mother.  Uh um er ah um er ah.....

More DRUG talk on the forums, I see. I'm sure this makes the educator community look REALLY professional to any Korean who sees this. and we wonder why wages are going down.

I hate the stuff. Seen too many good friends throw every opportunity away because of it.My sophomore roommate in college used to stink the dorm out with the stuff. Eventually I put a call in to the campus police, and let's just say he could kiss his scholarship goodbye....

I've seen people ruin their lives over pot before too.

1 guy - got so addicted he was looking for the next big high, that a teenager could afford. I convinced him to smoke so much random stuff looking for it, including things like sunflower petals, nutmeg, and other random plants.

another guy, went from the most friendly and relaxed guy ever, he used to go around with a guitar and play soothing jams for other students having a bad day, to getting hooked on meth in his 3rd year in high school (we do 5 years in NZ), and then robbing a convenience store with a weapon. He got so hooked on pot over the first 2 years of high school, that it took a lot of it for him to feel the effects, and then he got offered meth as the next big thing. Last I heard he got sent to juvie, and then transferred to a regular prison once he was 18.

Marijuana: healthier, safer, and less addictive than alcohol.

Alcohol: the gateway drug. Diminishes judgement.

I guess it's a matter of how it's consumed with respect to Marijuana. Taking hits from a bong ain't so healthy.  It might also cause one to pull a boner !

Neither is healthy per se, but one is clearly less healthy than the other.

Yes. Alcohol is clearly less healthy. Cigarettes, too.

Alcohol 'more damaging to brain health than marijuana'

https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/320895

The researchers found that alcohol use ó particularly in adults who had been drinking for many years ó was associated with a reduction in gray matter volume, as well as a reduction in the integrity of white matter.

Marijuana use, however, appeared to have no impact on the structure of gray or white matter in either teenagers or adults.

Based on these findings, the researchers believe that drinking alcohol is likely to be much more harmful to brain health than using marijuana.

I moderate in drink.

Ha! I kid. I don't need alcohol to make poor judgement calls!

Cigarettes ainít healthy in moderation.
I don't know if there's a single non-invested soul left on Earth who would disagree with that. Heck, most smokers would probably agree with that as well.

As for booze, there was some research that showed a very small amount of wine every day could reduce the incidence of heart attacks or something like that, but if I recall correctly, it turns out that the effects could be replicated with unfermented grape juice, which probably made the booze lobbies funding the research pretty upset

Alcohol (consumption for recreation) is arguably the most destructive force in existence. A few benefits can be argued for, but the potential harm it causes greatly outweighs these.

While my view of alcohol, cigarettes and marijuana is quite steadfast and I'll be happy to strongly argue why I don't involve myself with any of these things, I see no point in preaching to others on what they should do.

There are many vices and bad habits and all of us indulge in at least one of them.

I searched French. Boire means to drink. So ĎI drink with moderationí is correct. Canít read the small script. Anyone?

I drink about 18 units per week.  Which is slightly over what the NHS
in the UK considers safe (14). But if I lived in Spain I could drink 35 units
a week and be considered safe.

Seems like doctors in different countries live in different realities If
people listened to everything some random quack wrote in the internet
we would be eating nothing but green vegetables and drinking water.

I've done most drugs short of putting a needle in my arm and some of
the new ones out today.  If you're an adult, 19, you should be able to
choose. Portugal decriminalized ALL recreational drugs and apparently
that was the right move for them,

I already said what it meant.............. .....

As for the small script, it's hard to read but I believe it says "c'est moi" which would mean "It's me."

I'm pretty sure on the c'est, but I'm assuming the moi part.
