Food you love but not combined

When I was in primary school, my friend and I created a superhero named Corn Man, an anthropomorphic cob of corn. I wonder what foods he went well with.

I’m the opposite with corn:

Corn on pizza
Corn in coleslaw
Corn in mixed veg

All ok!

But just eating corn on its own, doesn’t agree with me.

Sometimes I listen to KoRn when I eat my corn. That always makes for an exciting culinary experience.

What about when a steaming cob has butter and salt added? It used to be the longest line-up event other than the dunk tank at the summer fair.

I remember going to some student's apartment ages ago and she
brought out sliced tomatoes for a snack. I popped a slice in my mouth
and almost projectile vomited all over the living room. There was
copious amounts of sugar sprinkled on the tomatoes. Wow.

I'm confused. Do you typically eat plain sugar?

Koreans tend to sugar things, where we would salt things. Tomatoes and salt...great! With sugar...toss-up. Same with the garlic bread. I had a Paris Baguette toasted egg and bacon sandwich the other day. Ate half and threw it away. Full of sugar. Sweeter than any dessert or cake.

Tomato and copious amounts of sugar is basically just ketchup. Should've just kind of mashed it around on the plate and asked for some chicken tenders to go with it.
