Thanks Rye for the "Dark Winds" and "The Old Man" recommendations. Different style of dramas but equally enjoyable.
"Only Murders in the Building" season 2 starts on June 28th. Loved the first season so hoping it continues.

You're most welcome Savant
Edit: In fact thanks as well! I've hesitated about watching 'Only Murders in the Building' up until now. DL Season 1 on 70% atm.

It's official, I'm never going to watch 'The Chi' again...I quit. Seasons 1-2 were really good, season 3 was good in parts, season 4 got weird, and season 5 episode 1 was even worse. It's turned into not much more than a soft porn, bed hopping, relationship drama. The only redeeming part is
some
of the music.

I recently watched a series called 'Evil' (2019).
A good balance of detective mystery and supernatural vs. religion themes.
Also it has that creepy guy who played Ben Linus on 'Lost' who is a superb actor.

I enjoyed the 1st season and about 3/4 of the second season, and then it got a bit wierd for me. I watched ep.1 of season 3, but have decided not to carry on.

New series called 'Black Bird' started yesterday. It's based on a true story about an ex jock and drug dealer, sent to prison for 10 years, with a get out of jail free card offered if he gets a child killer to confess. Episode one was very good.

'Flowers in the Attic: The Origin'. I've just watched episode 1 of this new show set at the end of WW1, and am finding it intriguing. It starts off slowish but soon becomes riveting viewing...bleak and mysterious. I won't say a lot, as it will give away too much of the first episode. I was also surprised to see Kelsey Grammer pop up towards the end. Recommeded so far, for fans of historicals with a little something extra added.

I'll ask again; Someone, please be good enough to merge the other TV thread with this one. it would be good if TV fans could talk about shows in just one place. Cheers!

'City on a Hill', season 3 has started. Jacky Rohr (Kevin Bacon) has quit the FBI and is working in a bar...no better place for Jacky! By the end of episode 1, he's back doing what he does best. It should be a good season.
If you haven't watched this show, I highly recommend it for those who like crime and deceit.
