Eliminate One Olympic Sport and Add One Olympic Sport

Gymnastics has always been a core element of the Olympics and in some more conservative countries, is one of the few disciplines that will get decent funding for women's sport.

There's a BIG difference between gymnastics and that silly thing called "rhythmic gymnastics" that became an Olympic sport when I was in middle school.

IMO just get rid of the Olympics period.

And for whoever was dissing curling, it's a little known fact that the sweeper in curling is one of the best conditioned athletes in any sport.

What exactly is it that "the crazies" wish to happen? What sports have already been ruined by them? And which sport is next on their agenda?

Get rid of synchronized swimming. Add ballroom dancing.

Get rid of canoeing. (although it is a lot of fun)

Introduce disc golf.

Koreans can eat their equipment when the games are over and save on logistics costs.

wack. take out any sport that has animals doing more work than humans. or make a seperate animal olympics.

Meh, rowers are doing more work than the coxswain. Cox still gets a gold.

Boxing is scored; it is more like soccer than figure skating imho. The judges count points. The nature of it is such that an accurate count is difficult, so they have a panel.

Or just make the Olympics pay for themselves rather than cities and governments.  No public welfare handouts. 

The Olympics is boring to watch, and so much of the judging is biased.

Turn the whole thing into a gladiator pit. Let the lions judge their fates.

Tbqs, I would definitely watch an Iron-man-esque type of obstacle course marathon run.
