Democrats will put them on the fast track towards receiving all types of benefits....at the expense of hard working American citizens...
Put the Korean book down and start learning Spanish now.

That plan may end up backfiring on the Dems. There was a massive shift towards Republicans amongst Hispanics. if this continues, then you could see things completely pretzel themselves in both parties in 10-20 years (or less).

I mean, it would be pretty hilarious (sad) to watch the left turn so hard on Latinos if they started to vote GOP and were pro 2A, anti-abortion, and embraced a machismo style of politics that Trump first started.

You should make a donation to Texas RioGrande Legal Aid and stick it to the liberals. Take that, Biden!

Texas will turn blue and become a second California then Florida.

California might split into two states in the next 20 or so years then it will be the red north and blue south. The USA needs a revolution, itís funny how the democrats have become more authoritarian and your with us or against us. I know moderate Democrats that have become shunned for religious views and not hating guns outright.  Democrats donít like diversity and free speech, Republicans too.

A central party is needed so bad in the USA!!

Would solve a lot problems. Currently, with only 2 real options, it's very easy for parties to manipulate their voter bases: "Don't like abortions? Then you have to vote for us! Too bad if you're pro gun control, or want better National Park protection..."
A centrist party would go a very long way towards getting rid of the *extremely* stupid "Team Red" or "Team Blue" mentality. With a third party, you can hate one team without then being required to love the other.

Honestly, the 2 party system is only marginally better than the one party system.

Frankly, the Democrats are the center party.  As the right has drifted so far right they've fallen off the edge of the world, they've dragged the Dems right with them.

What's needed is a proper leftist party.

The Dems have become Marxist far leftists with lots of crazies.  They have moved what use to be the center to the left and changed the goalposts.  What use to be a centrist 20 years ago is now a right winger by simply staying in the same place and not moving with the new goalposts.

Who has he surrounded himself with again?  Where does he get the bulk of his support?  Who works in his administration at lower and mid levels again?  What woke pc ideologies do they have again?  What is being implemented through stealth?  What woke nonsense is being pushed?  Even Biden doesn't know what he's signing when those "executive orders" are put in front of him.

I mean transgender women being allowed to kick real women out of sports?  Yeah, that's a real priority.  That was a far left policy position years ago and has been moved with the goal posts.  So much for natural born women ever winning another sport again no matter how hard they work for it.  They will lose every time.  But political correctness must be appeased.  Biden's priorities.  New religious discrimination and anti free speech bills working their ways through congress.  Biden will sign.  So, yeah he is the puppet of the Marxists and the squad.  In his senility and confusion, he does what's he's told.  His leftist media buddies will defend him and give him cover no matter what.

China makes you their bitch in an Alaska meeting?  No worries, media will cover for you and help you play it down.

I was just providing amusing imagery for Caitlinn's comment!

Also, please don't ascribe partisanship to me: if I had ever been allowed to legally vote, I'd have voted independent!

In terms of most policy, you are right.

The problem is the Dems embrace of wokeism/SJWism and its leaking into the policy sphere, much like the GOP did in the 90s with social conservatism and Moral Majority crap.

As long as both parties seem to be driven by their rabid social base, it will take people voting out the ruling party every 1-2 terms and supporting split government to contain them. If Trump had won a 2nd term with GOP majorities, it very likely would have required a sweeping victory to a chastised Democratic party to counter them.

The problem isn't necessarily the structure. The problem is the mentality, and it might not be correctable given our species genetic nature and cognitive limitations.

But I think this could be helped by both parties acknowledging that partisan solutions from their party are not always right at every point in time in every situation in every location.

The most realistic solution is probably substantially increased federalism. While federalism vs. centrality used to have supporters in both parties on either side, it has lost that balance and that is not a good thing.
