A Dr. Seuss book about Ted Cruz is highly likeable. Credit to John Oliver. I believe there are 4 poems in the set - all about that man Ted Cruz.

I do not like that man Ted Cruz
I do not like his far-right views
I do not like his stupid chin
I do not like his smarmy grin
I do not like him with a beard
I do not like him freshly sheared
I do not like Ted Cruz at all
That man Ted Cruz can suck my balls

Too bad Beta male er I mean Beto O'Rourke couldn't beat him.

I could use some machine gun eggs to go with that machine gun bacon.  Maybe the chef will be Machine Gun Kelly.

What with the whole Liz Cheney thing, I think that a lot of the anti-cancel-culture folk are lying low for a while.

Probably for the best.

I had three of The Cat in The Hat, which was very useful with elementary school aged hagwon students.

Plus one Green Eggs and Ham (and photocopies).

I'd never heard of the controversial stories by Dr. Seuss.

The stories aren't really controversial. There are a few illustrations that portray caricatures of ethnic minorities that people are having issues with.
Societies change in 70 years. What was fine in the 50s isn't today. That's pretty comforting, actually, because those changes could've just as easily gone in the opposite direction.
