So which pending laws do you think are most likely to land you in jail, hangook? And what percentage of the world's population has been "jailed, cancelled, and had their lives ruined" because of modern left-wing cancel culture? You keep asking for specific quantities when we claim that conservative cancel culture caused - and still causes - grief for some people. But it's hard to compare if you don't supply a baseline number.

If you really dont see the cancel kids lobbying to get you fired now lobbying congress and in some cases being elected to congress trying to draft laws, then I really can't help you.  Incrementalism is the enemy of alarm as folks blind themselves.  Keep wearing the dark shades and put your head in the ground.  But don't say I didn't warn you.

How would you even know that your employees had premarital sex? Do you ask them? Would you not become a walking lawsuit from the employee questioned?

Tennessee is an "at-will" state, so you can fire anybody for any reason and without warning as long as the reason isn't illegal (firing somebody over race, for example, would be illegal even in Tennessee. firing somebody for ****** would not be)
as for how he knew one of his (unmarried) employees got pregnant which is a bit of a giveaway lol. not sure about the other 11 tho

Christ, this forum is so dependable. You can always find the worst of right-wing humanity trying to troll everyone else. To go back to the original topic: the OP is just sassing everyone else, looking for attention and validation. As are clearly all the other hangers-on who added to this pile of crap. I saw maybe one decent person on that first page, before my eyes glazed over.  You people complain about cancel culture, yet you seek to cancel those you disagree with. In that respect y'all are mirror images of each other, but it's the difference that tells; at least the so-called SJWs have some kind of moral code. The right-wingers all seem to believe in naught but selfishness. They demand society never change, that it forever accommodate their inane, backwards depravities. Some idiot even tried to say the N word wasn't that bad in the past, that people just used to say it all the time. News flash: it was ALWAYS racist, you insipid (insert pejorative here).

still have a discussion with kids about how Chinaman is out of fashion the same way Ni**er Jim shouldn't be erased. That was how people talked back then. No one is saying ni**er in City Council meetings and then justifying it by saying that Twain wrote it 150 years ago.

That's how it was. We progress. Progress must acknowledge that's it's a change over time and recognise what we've added and changed/modified. But don't era

Some idiot even tried to say the N word wasn't that bad in the past, that people just used to say it all the time. News flash: it was ALWAYS racist, you insipid (insert pejorative here).

I'll play along and imagine it was me you were referencing........ ........ That's what you got out of my post? It wasn't bad to say it? I never said it was proper, I said that THAT'S HOW MANY PEOPLE REFERRED TO BLACK PEOPLE. Portrayal is not promotion. Should we change the writing in Twain's book because it's SUPER incorrect to use that word in the present? I don't think so. Should we pave over the Killing Fields in Cambodia because genocide is bad and The Khmer Rouge were the bad guys?

No? Leave it. Use it as an example. We need to learn that a vast majority of people in the 1800s were SUPER racist against...... well, blacks, yeah but a HUGE swath of anyone non-white.

 "But there are racists today!"

Yes? Would you say that there is less racism, more racism or the same amount of racism today compared to..let's say.......... 1870?

It's less, OBVIOUSLY it's less.

Which brings up the question, would deleting the "Chinamen" or "Ni**er Jim" make the world better? Should we pretend that people back then didn't talk like that? I don't think we should. Kids read Tom Sawyer in the US (and ONLY the US) and they're smart enough to read the word and say "Oh, jeez." It's the TEACHER'S responsibility to teach the children how the country has progressed since then.

If kids are throwing the N word around, it's not because of Tom Sawyer, it's racist parents.

Sjws beating people up, attacking them, burning buildings down, falsely accusing people, firing people.  Some moral code.

I don't remember trying to cancel anyone on this forum.  I never complained to the moderators about other users either.

BWAHAHAHAHA!

On Monday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) warned of unspecified "serious consequences" if corporations and other "parts of the private sector keep dabbling in behaving like a woke parallel government." Later in the day, McConnell told big businesses to "stay out of politics."

If I had to guess, their protestations here but failure to do so in the case of the Chinese government will be a target. People on both sides of the aisle aren't too happy about their constant kowtowing to China.

At this point, the government has a responsibility to address that. I say companies should protest both or neither. But if they're only protesting U.S. governmental conduct but not FAR FAR worse Chinese conduct, sorry, game over.
