Doesn't say if housing included.  So, I assume it is the total salary.  My averaged out salary over 12 months is around this amount (including housing, salary, renewal allowance, multiple school allowances, overtime extra teaching, etc).

This is from their website and linkedin profile:

We create copy that sounds natural, flows smoothly, and entices and captivates a global audience, too.

We work with some of Korea’s leading companies, such as Samsung Group, Hyundai Motor Company, LG Electronics, and Korean Air. Through our campaigns, we’ve elevated their global presence. That’s why they always trust that their English copy is safe in our hands.

What we do is so much more than just translation. What we do is construct copy, for clients who need words that are effective and powerful.

Well all I have to say is I'm so glad they bravo'd up  my life and asked me when they wanted to sell me a car if I was interested in those racist hamster Hyundai commercials.

No. Thank. You.

Yeah, I guess you're right. These benefits are pretty crappy, too.
Free overseas trips, Itaewon restaurants, friendly working
environment.  I'll take school lunches and racist co-teachers
any day.

9-6 “typical” working hours!

So 9-6 plus an extra four to six hours after to translate the information gained during “typical” working hours.

Monthly company lunch most likely on off days with company clients who want to learn English. No alcohol unless the client demands it and no hwaesiks because the client isn’t your boss but leave and your fired!!

Hard pass!

The decency of a job is independent of its pay, as long as basic expenses are paid for.

A 3.1 million a month hagwon could be less decent than a 2.2 million one.

How?

One wanted split shifts, kindy and Saturdays.

The other opened the doors at 2pm, said goodbye at 8pm Fridays 'till 2pm Mondays.

Decency is a matter of perspective?

I guess you'd have to think that way with some of the stinkers you've worked for, but for those of us who are over 23 and are concerned with salary over sleep in time, the afternoon jobs you prefer are the ones that scream steer clear.  Imagine a place like you worked in Jeju where your co-worker can get you ousted from your position in favour of her boyfriend?  That's a professional set up.

All I can picture is that job involves writing the ads you hear Bill Burr read on his podcast and your career gets nuked when he decides to trash it. Some poor guy writing Nature's Box copy gets the axe because ol' Billy was ornery because the Pats lost or whatever. Either that or Fez decides to weep over his Mrs. Field's cookie read.
