In This Role, You Will:

• Conceptualize and create copy according to the client's brief

• Communicate with our bilingual AE about client briefs and attend meetings

• Proofread and edit all work

We’re Looking for a Person Who’s a:

• Perfectionist. Are your proofreading skills meticulous enough to find one Arial character in a sea of Times New Roman?

• Creative. Can you bring new ideas to the table, even when it feels like everything's already been said?

• Trend follower. Do you keep up with what everyone's watching on Netflix and dancing to on TikTok?

Requirements:

• Native English fluency

• Eligible for E-7 visa sponsorship, or has an F visa

• A portfolio of writing you're proud to show off

• Affinity for golden retrievers

Salary:

• 3.5 million won per month (negotiable depending on experience)

Doesn't say if housing included.  So, I assume it is the total salary.  My averaged out salary over 12 months is around this amount (including housing, salary, renewal allowance, multiple school allowances, overtime extra teaching, etc).

Yeah, I guess you're right. These benefits are pretty crappy, too.
Free overseas trips, Itaewon restaurants, friendly working
environment.  I'll take school lunches and racist co-teachers
any day.

9-6 “typical” working hours!

So 9-6 plus an extra four to six hours after to translate the information gained during “typical” working hours.

Monthly company lunch most likely on off days with company clients who want to learn English. No alcohol unless the client demands it and no hwaesiks because the client isn’t your boss but leave and your fired!!

I guess you'd have to think that way with some of the stinkers you've worked for, but for those of us who are over 23 and are concerned with salary over sleep in time, the afternoon jobs you prefer are the ones that scream steer clear.  Imagine a place like you worked in Jeju where your co-worker can get you ousted from your position in favour of her boyfriend?  That's a professional set up. 

All I can picture is that job involves writing the ads you hear Bill Burr read on his podcast and your career gets nuked when he decides to trash it. Some poor guy writing Nature's Box copy gets the axe because ol' Billy was ornery because the Pats lost or whatever. Either that or Fez decides to weep over his Mrs. Field's cookie read.
