I wouldn't be surprised if somebody managed to slap some fines on him, but I doubt he's going to jail. not because "Qanon for lyfe" or whatever, but because our criminal justice system is broken at the best of times

If they do, it will begin a tit for tat that will turn the U.S. into S. Korea where every former President ends up in jail.

Which theoretically isn't THAT bad. Consider this- In all likelihood to have a successful functioning head of state for a country as elaborate and powerful as the U.S. or even in some other countries, their President will have to bend the law to get stuff done. Afterwards, they pay the price for it by going to jail. It would have the practical effect of making the only office seekers as people willing to "sacrifice themselves to serve the country", if done appropriately. In a weird way that should perhaps encourage enlightened rule.

Of course in practice, the results could be far different.

I'd say he'll probably end up breaking the ones all Americans do- Dubious firings and influence over federal agencies, political acts, and questionable actions abroad, particularly in the still lingering War on Terror. Like I said, stuff that if we were to be real, probably is necessary in some ways for functioning government even if it violates the law. Of course, you can't really say that's anything to do with Biden being Biden, more like the office of the President being what it is.

Now if you want to talk about some big undefined action that would actually rise to scandal, I don't know if that will happen or not. Probably not. Biden seems pretty risk-averse and not as interested in trying to fly as close to the edge as possible as some other politicians, both left and right, are willing to do.  The only thing that MIGHT is if the Harris camp descends into open warfare against the Biden camp and Biden gets Cuomoed, but that is really unlikely as it would horribly damage Harris' future prospects as well. It would take something monumental for that to happen.

I mean, FFS the entire American political system is based on legalized bribery in the form of campaign contributions. What do you expect?

So, he still has support and they have him and Biden tied, but that probably means Biden losing.  SNL has even been forced to start making fun of Biden.
