The most important freedom of speech issues are people losing their jobs or livelihoods over something they said or tweeted, people  being fired from charities they set up, kicked out of university, not hired at universities in the first place, removed from TV shows (that chick from The  Mandolorian) being no platformed at universities they were invited to speak at and so on.  A great source of humour for some people maybe, until it happens to them, when it might not be so funny. Things like Dr Seuss 'Happy holidays' and the vegan salad emoji are just the go to examples lefties use when they want to avoid discussing the issue.

I do agree that its depressing that the Woke Left has essentially adapted every negative trait of the 90s Social Conservatives including such highlights as Moral Panics, freakouts over video games and music, wanting books removed, wanting people with weird ideas to not be teachers, ridiculous pageantry, intolerance for anyone who doesn't agree with them, being convinced their on some sort of righteous crusade and this allows them to do whatever, etc.

Try living in a southern state for a few years and pay attention to what goes at school board and city council meetings, who gets elected to local and state offices, and what issues exercise the commentariat of neighborhood or small town Facebook groups. I heard something or other....but, I cannot confirm if that is actually true (in its extent). 

But...I really don't want to go through the motions and find out....I don't care.  His music sucked, his lyrics sucked, his persona sucks ass.

A lot of these guys started in the 90's as shock value.  But you can't say there wasn't something mentally wrong with them, either.  Definitely was.  I never liked the whole industrial creepy metal.  Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, etc.  I didn't mind a couple of Tool songs and one or two songs from a Perfect Circle.  I also like some 2000's decade rock which had some slight very very slight industrial, but mostly rock with a slight grunge sprinkling on top.  Chevel - the Red.  Trapt - Headstrong  Linkin Park Numb and others  Velvet Revolver  Audioslave etc.  (In fact 2000's decade was often under rated.  Good music and top 40 still played a lot of it. Seems around 10 years ago, they switched to boom boom bing boom shake yer booty, you a ho, boom boom bang boom bing boom.  A few songs I like, but much of it utter trash.
