Going from E-2 to F-2 visa
« on: December 23, 2020, 02:38:56 pm »
Has anyone gone from E-2 visa to F-2 visa while under an EPIK/ GEPIK contract?

Any tips/ insight on life with F-visa? Are there any changes that happen with the contracts that I should know of or be wary of?

Thnx in advance.

I was also told that F visas (at least F-2-7) are also required to pay employment insurance each month, which I didn't as an E-2.

this is a good point. a friend of mine didn't know this (neither did his school) and three years later he had to pay a lump sum.

so, yeah, mention this to your school accountant, OP
