Lot of reboots happening. That one sound awful.

New “Frasier” coming out this year which I don’t have high hopes for. Nostalgia shows rarely work.

Just a caveat! It's just my opinion and I have been a bit off at times. BaC liked it. Quite possible you may like it as well.

Yeah Frasier! One of my must watch progs from the past. Really found it amusing. I also won't go in with much expectation in Part 2. Ya never know, it might suprise!

“Slow Horses”. MI5 spy drama from Apple Originals about washed-up or disgraced agents in their own “spy” department doing pointless things…until they are not.

Starring Gary Oldman and others. Great watching so far up to episode 3/6. Already a season 2.

I watched the first two episodes so far. Excellent.

Shows I won't be watching:

I can't watch it on my big TV, and I really want to watch 'Slow Horses'.
For some reason, any TV series from Amazon and Apple TV with Korean subs, will just break up...pause...get pixelated...etc. Must be something to do with me having Netflix and, or, a smart TV. Really annoying and frustrating. I don't know how to fix it.  >:(

I'm going to watch 'The English' again tonight.

Oh BTW, I glanced at Reddit the other day, and people were talking about Cohiba's Rule' You're still talked about  ;D

I do love a good BBC murder/mystery series.

A new one started today called 'Chemistry of Death'. I've just watched episode 1. It's set in a small town and revolves around an ex forensic pathologist with a past, now working as a GP in a village. Episode one was great. Recommended for lovers of British TV.

Cheers for the moviesjoy link. I just had a peek but will have a better look tomorrow. Seems good!
Check out:

And
2. Rat in the kitchen

I love REALITY TV: either in news or game show format. Phil Donahue used to run up and down visiting audience rows, asking questions... it was gripping, unexpected sometimes, but REAL!

"The Rig" a Brit drama by Amazon set on a North Sea Oil Rig. Decent enough to keep watching if you don't mind the obvious environmental angle. Finished 4 episodes so far.

Yep, tried to watch it from a DL to USB...same problem I highlighed a couple of posts back. Just pixelates and breaks up due to it being Amazon with Korean subs. Very disappointing (that I can't view it...not the series)

There are "ways" to watch it. A VPN helps out.

If you like these check out: "Vigil". A murder/mystery set in
a British nuclear submarine.

I also rate “Sherwood” as worth a watch.

Thanks for the recommendations SPQR and Savant.
I've found English subs and not multi-subs with Korean for all 3...'The Rig', 'Vigil', and 'Sherwood'. All should be just fine to view.

I watched S01E02 of "The Last of Us". Now I know why movies these days suck.
All the production budgets are going into these streaming services' miniseries.

The sets of S01E02 were amazing, but the story a little thin. Move from point A
to point B.

Record of Ragnarok

It's an anime. 2nd season just dropped, can be watched on Netflix.

Quick and dirty synopsis: The gods (from pretty much every culture and tradition, they all coexist) want to destroy humanity because they're sick of our shit, but the Valkyries feel like humanity is worth keeping around. So they argue for Mortal Kombat as a chance for humanity to save itself. The gods agree thinking there's no way even the best of humanity's warriors could ever compete with a god. And so Ragnarok begins.

This anime is so ****** dumb. OMG sooo dumb, it's almost cathartic it's so dumb haha. All of humanity's champions are basically notorious and legendary figures from history. I'd put this series in the same realm as Baki and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, only it does cutaways in the middle of these fights for basically some behind-the-scenes drama, which is dumb because we all know we're only here for the fights. Anyway, if you like dumb and exaggerated shit, plop down for this one. I personally do enjoy it. But it's dumb, you've been warned.

The Climb, a new series documenting a reality competition of rock climbing, starting on epic cliffs in Spain.

I nearly cried on episode 1 and did so on episode 2. It is a powerful real-life challenge wherein everyone supports everyone sincerely and yet they are competing, though as much with themselves and the rock (obstacles) as with others. It shows the heart of competition and is thoroughly engaging, edited incredibly tactfully yet stylistically. If you make it to the end of episode 1, you ain't stopping... am on episode 5 of 8.

Just finished S01E03 of TLOU. Very moving, even thought it was a love affair
between two gay bears.

Very well done.
