Devil's Hour. Not normally my type of show but it kept my attention until the denouement, which was less than satisfying.

I just finished binge-watching this year's season (6) of The Amazing Race Australia.

It was epic. It was over 6 continents and 21 episodes, with classic great TAR staples plus a couple of unique twists. If you like the American version, you'll like the Aussie version (though the host is goofy, with some unfunny attempts at humor). It's better than the Canadian version.

Make it into the third episode and you'll be hooked!

Watch it be simply googling "The Amazing Race Australia s06e01" and clicking on the first youtube video that pops up. Easy peasy.

Casting is a skill we don't overtly think about.
But America's original The Amazing Race season 34 nailed it.
I posted in week one that only two of the teams I didn't care about, as most seemed awesome.
Now, all three in next week's final are cheered on equally loved. Heck, if someone spoiled the drama and told me who won before i saw next week's episode, i would smile and enjoy it anyways: after 34 seasons, THIS IS the fondest trio of teams i've ever seen, hands down. Pure joy.

If you have ever liked The Amazing Race, then watch this season. It is one of the best, and my fav in terms of not drama (dang! No one to root against. No villains) but likeable contestants.

SAS: Rogue Heroes.

Origins of the SAS in WWII. Interesting characters, solid story, light humor and some brutal war action.

Season 34 of America's original THE AMAZING RACE just finished yesterday and all three finalist duos are joyful: i cheered them all on (usually there's a wtf or lukewarmly-received team if not an outright villainous pair, imo).

Hell's Kitchen continues its season tomorrow, and i look forward to it and Survivor, but this parody popped up on the YouTube algorithm: https://youtu.be/17R3JjrsiZw  :)

What a great year! The final 6 of Survivor has 4 of 5 of my initial episode favs.

The final 5 battle TODAY, mere hours from now.

I can't say more w/o revealing a predictable one.

A very good season. Though i miss the humming... hell ya!)  and no alpha male drama this year...

I'm watching a new series called 'Three Pines'. It's a crime mystery and is set in a Quebec Village. The first 4 episodes were enjoyable...5 and 6 are up now. Very easy to watch and to absorb what's going on.

Over on the Movie thread 'Tulsa King' was mentioned. I'm actually starting to get into it. The last episode got kind of nasty, so maybe it will move from a wandering around story to something more focused and solid. A gang war might be on the cards!

It's in English (with French accents), but also a bit of spoken French here and there.

its like "A history of violence" meets sons of anarchy. dumb and violent,  i like it,  but I'd bet that it drags on a bit towards the end,

The next installment of the pre-'Yellowstone saga started yesterday. '1923' follows on from '1883;, and the Duttons are now raising cattle, battling the effects of drought, sheep farmers, and the beginnings of the "Great Depression'. There is also a side story about a Native American girl trapped in a Catholic boarding school. Not sure where this is going to lead.
Also a great cast, including Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.
Episode one was intriguing.

Oh, thanks.  I forgot that was coming up sometime this month.  I so rarely look at my Amazon Video channel.

Yes; the CIA is your friend (though not JFK's, but half a century ago, wgaf).

Now Back to FBI & CSI (and all other Law & Order spin-offs).

Just the edges of it.  Looked promising.

Also on my list, but I've only glanced at bits and pieces. Looks good though.

Starts well but gets very confusing. The bad characters make it worth a watch.
