From declaring it to be some massive coup attempt to then posting that video as a "credible" source when they have people on there comparing things to Weimar Germany. Apologies.1) Donald Trump shackled to a Virginia prison wall for 2 years (just for the Jan. 6 speech), yes please.2) Read for understanding, Stephens was pardoned so the charges of treason (a death sentence) were dropped.3) Davis was released on bond and fled to Canada, and like the other Confederate leaders, was pardoned by Johnson.Yes, I agree those you mentioned should be tried for treason, not pardoned, and sentenced to death. But I'm not a big fan of the death penalty except for rare cases, so a long imprisonment is fine by me.
Clearly what happened was equivalent to the bloodiest conflict in American history that literally split the country in two. What happened was obviously far closer to the Civil War than the Whiskey Rebellion.
