Here is a what's This hidden picture game.  The students really liked this.  Before the game I taught the students "WHO is this?" as well.  I have put a few people/cartoon characters in there as well.  ****Change slide 18, it's a picture of me****  There are points on each picture.  You can use them if you want.  The automation for the removal of each square is already set up as well.  Just keep clicking.  Enjoy!

I did a simple intro using a magic hat we had lying around the English Centre.  I placed various things in the hat (one at a time) and asked the kids to come up and pretend to be a magician.  The had to stick their hand in and ask 'Is this a ____'.

If they're correct I award points to the relevant team.  If not, then I just ask an opposing team member to come up until they get it correct.  Was good fun... good warm-up.

hello, I used the "What's missing?" ppt game. It was helpful in that the students memorize the pictures and when one goes away, the whole class raises their hands to tell me what is missing. This is a more entertaining game for memorization.

Here is a story that we used for the Peter Pan story section. We made a peter pan hat, a Wendy bow, and a little tinkerbell and took volunteers from the class to act it out.

This is a dialogue for students. You can make copies of it and let students glue into a notebook.
