Maltesers are godly in taste and ungodly in price. Big bag for a quid at home, can't justify £1.50 for a tiny bag.

Also, KTG, do you want to explain yourself yet?

You know what else they're better than?

Cardboard.

All malted milk candies taste like sadness. Almost as bad as candy corn.

The box is too expensive, and putting them in the fridge will just make them hard and cold. I actually find Whoppers a lot more satisfying, and I'm not a fan of those, either, lol.

But I really like the Milka chocolates that both Emart and Homeplus have been selling lately. Emart was stocking Cadbury chocolate for a bit, too, might still be there. Those were good, too.

I agree they are very overpriced for the amount you get.

I tried those whoppers abominations and I spat it out. Absolutely disgusting and that classic American plastic/synthetic chocolate taste.

So Coca cola zero has been around for years now , why have pepsi not rolled out the pepsi max? Why are sugar free drinks like unicorn here? I read that 1 in 7 Korean adults have diabetes.

Right? And yet I'll still eat them if offered. Dunno what's wrong with me.

First time I tried them was a few months ago, they taste like Cadbury Whispers from back home, love 'em.

I try restricting my chocolate treats for Fridays only, but I have a massive chocolate addiction so that usually doesn't work.

I've found that the bigger stationery stores (Alpha in particular) and Olive Young stock plenty of western chocolates. Once, they had a few bars of a South African's chocolate holy grail... The Bar One. I saw them once and never again.

If there's a chocolate needs to disappear off the face of the Earth its Hershey Bars, stuff tastes like sweetened puke. Ghana's pure lack of flavour at least means it doesn't taste awful.

SARS CoV-2?????

There was

SARS-CoV
MERS-CoV

and now...

COVID19

That's three coronoviruses. Where does SARS CoV-2 (two?) come from?

Thanks for taking part in my poll. I have nothing better to do with my time.

You’ll be providing a breakdown of the results by gender, I presume?

@Van
SARS CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus 2) is the official name of the strain of coronavirus that causes the coronavirus disease (COVID-19 for short). The 2002 outbreak of a different strain of coronavirus would be SARS CoV-1 at this point. The term “Covid” apparently hasn’t caught on in Korea, so you’re better off just saying “coronavirus” (with a B sound) ‘round these parts.

I know malted milk balls are taking most of the heat here, but I just think you all should know that for those of us who actually like candy corn, the fact that it always ends up as the butt of every bad-candy joke cuts pretty deep.

Seems a university in Osaka will begin human trials at the end of this month.
