Sorry, what has he lied about?

Didn't he admit to driving up to Durham to drop his kids off at his parents? Didn't he admit to making that decision based on the exceptional circumstances regarding children as written in the government advice?

Do you have a source for his 'lies'?

He has nothing to apologise for. Never apologise for something you have not done.

He exploited a loophole meant for victims of domestic abuse. His version of events and his wife's don't match up. And the drive to test his eyesight is a lot of bullshit. It gives the appearance of the rules not mattering for him. It's bad optics in the politics game.

The only bad optics I can see is the witch hunt from news outlets.

Think he has stood up to the media who are attempting to manipulate political figures. The media have no grounds for this. They report the news, not control the news, or at least they used to.
Haven't you got some pictures of birds to be jacking off to, son?

When? The UK press, especially the tabloids, are notorious for a good old witch hunt.

Right, they are. And all Brits know that the rags should be ignored, or used as fish and chip wrapping/emergency bog roll.

Nothing written in them should be given any attention. No less this pathetic screeching re Cummings.

or the rules were misunderstood by the vast majority of the public and the govt's messaging was a massive failure
