I've been to Salt House twice now and man, they know what they're doing! They make a helluva charcuterie board and if you go to the actual resto in Mangwon, then get the Reuben sandwich, good god. It's amazing.

That said, not everyone lives in Seoul, or Gyeonggi for that matter, so they do delivery. Enjoy. It ain't cheap, but the finer things never are.

The first thing to say is that this is definitely not pyramid selling, OK?

Tempting. I would kill for a decent sausage.

I've never had their sausages. I ordered the BBQ set but it won't arrive in time to cook it camping tomorrow. Might arrive on Sunday (going to Cheonan from Seoul, might take a bit of time). As soon as I've tried it I'll let you know. If it's anything like their other food, it'll be grand.

Braai Republic's boerewors is what real sausages are about.

Yes, different from the types that are typically European style (nothing wrong with European style though, just different). Usually a mixture of pork, beef, lamb plus many herbs and spices. Some even add red wine to it. Best when you BBQ (braai in South Africa) but still good in the pan or grilled.

If you want a straight sausage (Edit- Man what a terrible choice of words, those are going to come back to haunt me), it's hard to argue with Boerwoers. I like Kielbasa as a meal sausage with like a mess of onions or sauerkraut or at the ballpark in a bun though. Chorizo is good for being in various dishes. And of course salami and pepperoni are classics. In America, not much good other than smokey links for breakfast.

I'd go for a class 1 carcinogen if it were a spicy Hungarian sausage, a smoked kolbasz.

Though that salami and pastrami look tasty.

About once every couple of months I go to Subway and buy the spicy Italian footlong and keep the pepperoni on but remove the salami to enjoy separately because the town I'm in lacks it elsewhere.

The last time I went to Vancouver I dropped  nearly a hundred bucks at a deli for meats, cheeses and rye bread.

You only live twice.

Had the smoked bacon and the andouille sausages yday. Bacon was on point, crisps up nicely and we made some BLTs.
The andouille were AMAZING. Like, a proper sausage. Had that spring in the bite and there was just the right amount of heat (making it a Southern style sausage and NOT the French style).
Gonna save the ham steaks and the Italian sausage for next weekend.

Braii ones are good but they're more crumbly. That's not BAD, but it is a very different sausage.

Thanks!  *virtual hug* (NO KISSING)  :-*

How were the Italian sausages C02?  I was thinking of ordering the "sausage party" set (hehe), pastrami, cotto salami, and the smoked cheddar.  Anyone try any of these, or can recommend anything else from the site?
