and that 1.5 is without housing. they only provide a " small housing allowance " so that 1.5 would need to make up the difference in housing. so shoe box sized house and making just over 15 grand a year. all for a bachelor's degree holder....

I've never seen hagwon offers this dismal before. Can we deduce it's because the virus has crippled their income? Or are they just wising up to the fact that young graduates are so miserable in their own countries that they'll take pretty much anything?
