Clearly this virus was deliberately concocted and released by democrats hellbent on destroying Trumps re-election in November.

Trump called the Democrats' characterization of his response a hoax, not the virus itself. He also was trying to be optimistic before the full impact had hit. Admittedly he didn't do the greatest job on this, but he's seeing similar results to other western leaders, in a country that is 3-5 times more populous than theirs and substantially larger as well.

trump calls everything a hoax, so it's a case of the boy who cried wolf.  It's anything he doesn't like.  He was trying to be 'optimistic' because of the markets and only the markets, something he cannot control, no matter how much he thinks he can.  Remember when he said there were only 15 people, and that number will go down?  'didn't do the greatest job'?  Not even close.  Inept, ignorant, dangerous?  Yes.  'But, but,but...what about those other countries?'

The US would've been better prepared had trump not disbanded the NSC Pandemic Unit in 2018. You realise that the reason Korea's response has been swift and effective is they learned from MERS in 2015 and implemented what we're seeing at the moment.  Obama created more effective messaging between the various health and disease departments after the virus outbreaks on his watch.  trump hated that becasue he didn't think of it. The US would've done better if trump hadn't scared everyone to fly back to the US en masse last week with a botched tv address.  The US would've have done better if elected officials weren't posting social media pictures of them out and about in bars and restaurants.  The US would've done better if they accepted the WHO test kits in January.

This last one is interesting, because that greasy eunuch Kushner has formed his own shadow coronavirus response team and said this week that his team's goal was to bring 'an entrepreneurial approach' to the crisis.  Sounds like money is more important than peoples' lives here.  There's always someone making some money here.

That's not really true.  He equated it to the "impeachment hoax", which is something that (to his mind and the minds of the enfeebled dolts who still follow him)  DID NOT EXIST, or at the most was inconsequential and didn't matter.

You can try to spin it, but you're wrong.

If you want to talk bad responses, look at the EU leaving Italy hung out to dry.
Nope. He called the Democrats' alarm at how Covid-19 could spread in the US their "new hoax."

He's doing a shitty job. And the way he makes all his people at the press conferences continually praise him is reminiscent of his former buddy kim jong un.

"Optimistic" LOL. He said it was no problem, that the flu was worse, that it was contained, that they has a million test kits.

He's told lie after lie about Covid-19.

I don't see any other way to teach this Republican reaction as highly treacherous and hypocritical to their ideals of small government spending.  It is literally now when Reagonomics should be tested once and for all, instead of this conveniently renamed socialist Universal Basic Income Bill. :undecided:

What, Trump buying the election?  Perfectly fine.  After all, the Republicans rubber-stamped the $400 million regarding Ukraine, so what's the diffs?

Trump gives families financial relief. Dems: "He's buying the election!!!!"
Trump doesn't give families financial relief. Dems: "He's a heartless monster!!!!"

Some people are just so reflexively anti-Trump they are incapable of rational thought.

A really tiny percentage of the US population, who might justify my illogical nonsense, are just so reflexively anti-Trump they are incapable of rational thought.

Trump wants to send out checks of free money to citizens... ;D How very socialist of him!

Yang's response: ''This whole thing is so fucked up, he said. ;D

Who cares?  Its a fiat currency already worth nothing (no gold backing) and over indebted most countries that they can never pay back.  So, it's going to all have to be written off and a reset is coming.  So, since that's happening, might as well run it up a bit more, before the reset comes.
