Phone plans?
« on: December 10, 2019, 03:04:54 pm »
So I've been using a shitty prepaid simcard ever since I arrived in Korea 4 years ago. It's becoming increasingly expensive, so I'm thinking of getting a monthly phone plan. I don't want a new phone, just the simcard.

Any recommendations as far as networks/deals go? How long do phone contracts in Korea typically run for?

Thanks in advance 8)

I get 10gb of LTE data, plus 2gb daily after I use that up, plus unlimited calling and messaging with KT M Mobile, which is one of the budget KT brands.
It costs me 32,000 per month. The speed is equal to that of my wife's, who is using SK. I've had no problems with it for the three years I've been using it. Highly recommend it.

Just scroll down to look at their plans.

They don't have physical offices, so you have to register online, but it's not too hard. Their customer service people are super helpful and friendly, usually, too.

That sounds ideal. Thank you!
