Plastic sheet installation for window
« on: January 02, 2020, 05:30:51 pm »
I installed a sheet of plastic over my window but the thing is now bulging with so much pressure from the air collected in it that it's able to peel off at some areas after some time. I haven't actually weatherized the window as the air was coming in from an awkward area (through the hinges), but I did put some stuff that was meant to block air from entering at the bottom of doors. Any other ideas?

Thanks. I did notice some material that was similar to chalking at the store. I think it's removal which would be perfect.

lol, brings back memories...

select no. 3 for EVA odourless window sized format  then select the size you want.

Fill up the window area with bubble wrap :

or just place a pillow against it.

More worrying is that if your apt. is so drafty your air purifier is completely useless because toxic air keeps getting into your room, food and cups/plates.

Thanks for the recommendations. Yeah, I was concerned about the bad air coming in as well. It's all just a mess.
