Can I ask why you won't consider entering a Teacher's programme in the UK.?
I believe the costs are mostly covered by the government, aren't they?

It would obviously be better for you after 4 years or after having received your QTS, whichever comes first.  Just saying that the shortage of teachers creates huge opportunities for good (ESL) teachers who have trained abroad because principals actually recognise the value that our experience and our different educational paradigm brings to the foray.

I would sincerely like to ask you to reconsider, partly for us as colleagues but also for your own benefit and rest of mind. Growing increasingly older in such a difficult society as Korea, with such a detrimental future outlook in terms of climate, water scarcity and health and your stagnant pay... I teach Koreans who have fled all that and are insistent on not wanting to go back, and here you are actively trying to leave this country where half of the world tries to sneak into hidden away in lorries.

I mean China? Check the air quality, won't you?
