I have a couple of free periods at the end of this unit, so I'm using it to let them watch part of Cowspiracy. It's about the impact of animal agriculture on climate change. I made some questions for them to fill in while watching the movie (an easy and a hard version...both in the same doc). The lesson before watching the movie, I will go over a preview ppt, and they will answer the first two questions (during lesson 11.5). Then, we will go over the rest of the questions to make sure that they understand them. During my next free class we will go over a ppt with problems and solutions for helping the environment. Then, they will make posters based on how they can save the earth. I'm also showing them a short clip of one of Greta's speeches during another class. ***I added a few slides from respect_teaching to my PowerPoints, so thank you :)Cowspiracy (35 minutes): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1SOJMF2Ttj53l8_PRiWILZk7-loPmyN6KGreta (8 minutes): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1IAtLrOkskTR_ITXZy5Zc6BabBLXOCDYW
