Passive voice is not exciting to teach, but I still kinda like teaching it anyways because it always amazes me how quickly student pick it up. Here's part of a ppt I used with my kids last year, then I paired them up to play the board game.

Thank you so much for sharing with me the files. But there seems to be a problem with the ppt file. I could not open it. Do you mind checking it again? Sorry for bothering you.

oh yeah. one that i've done

everyone closes their eyes. i go around the class and move/change some things

students have to write down everything that's different

e.g. "minsu's bag has been moved"
"a picture on the whiteboard has been drawn"

etc

I swapped out the ppt file and it should work now.

I always liked practicing passive voice with famous authors, pop stars, artists etc...

____ was painted by Van Gogh
____ was written by Shakespeare
_____ was sung by BTS

You could also have everyone in the class write a simple sentence or two about themself (or draw a picture), then give it to you.  You'll read them out and the class guess who wrote/drew it using the passive voice model sentences...

It was drawn by ____
It was written by _____

Thanks for the idea. The famous people surely can motivate them a little bit!

yeah that's good. i'd leave out the past participle too, and give an extra point for the correct pp verb
