"usually about" 4 hours of teaching....how many actual classes?  And the rest of time is just sitting around for no good reason?

What does 500,000 won get you in Itaewon, anyway?

Wait a minute, didn't I apply for that job a couple of weeks ago? It was something similar, but it was not through a recruiter. The job ad stated that I'd get 2,500,000 won per month, housing included. I thought, "oh, great!" But I didn't discover until half way through the interview itself that "housing included" meant a housing allowance. Of course I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE KEY MONEY MYSELF! It was something I discovered through gently questioning the interviewer. I felt I had just experienced the "bait and switch" method.
At least the above ad tells you the conditions from the outset.

I know of one kindergarten in the area, but it is some way up towards Namsan, basically in a quieter part of Haebancheon. If you take the job and accept an apartment in the area there's the risk of night time noise.
