I just read in the news that Chara's jaw was broken by that shot. The fact that he came back to the bench for the 3rd period truly shows just how tough he is. Man, that is incredible.

***wimpy soccer players shot*** I wonder how many footballers would be the same?

NHL players - the toughest guys in sports.

Agreed (and Rugby players).

I was watching the game and saw that shot he took to the jaw...I did not know it was broken though.  That reminds when  old Hatcher broke Reonick's jaw...heh-heh.  He had that coming to him, after his shot on Modano.

Back to Boston for game 5. Chara won;t be in and Grzelick (sp.) is out too. Boston is in tough man, but 2 of 3 at home. That's good.

Well, this is hockey! Chara is suited up and gonna play. How freaking tough is that? Dude suffered a broken jaw 3 days ago and now he's playing the toughest known sport to man.

You may very well be correct. I will be broken hearted but the Blues are an amazing team and the last of the original 6 expansion teams that has yet to win a Cup. Not counting the team that folded.

Well...the Blues will have to loose 2 in a row, which, seeing as how their franchise is full of heartbreak, it would not surprise me.

A top defenseman is suspended for that really dodgy hit for game 5. Nonetheless, the Bruins' too line gotta get it done. The Blues have shut them down very effectively. Reminds of a few years back when the Bruins swept the Penguins and held Crosbey's line pointless.

I cannot wait for tomorrow's game....it is always nice to see a new team win a championship (or an old team that has not won it in YEARS) for the first time.

And in all fairness, the Blues deserve to be there....their road to the Cup was not easy...The Jets, my beloved Stars then the Sharks.  They are certainly not making it easy for the B's...kind of reminds of of the '03 Cup, with N.J. and The Ducks (N.J. did win, but in game 7)

If the Blues don't pull it off tomorrow, ....gotta love Game 7's, right?

Game 7 back in Boston. Dang it's gonna be good. Go Bruins! I was confident they'd win game 6.

Man, when Boston clobbered the Blues, they REALLY clobbered them in this series.

Still wasn't enough.

Gutted by the loss to the Blues. But...they deserved it. What a Cinderella story. And the rookie goalie. He'll never top this year no matter how long he plays.

The Blues are the last of the original expansion teams to win the Cup. Congratulations, and still one of the coolest jerseys in all of sports!!!

As a Sabres fan seeing Ryan O'Reilly play such an important role in St Louis winning, picking up the Conn Smythe no less....stings worse than it should. The fact that the trade that let him go has been a complete wash out doesn't help things.

All that bullshite about him being a locker room cancer. It was always Housely. Now he's gone too. Shit show.
