I like this guy's YOUTUBE LESSON.
In this lesson, he taught about would have p.p.
But I wasn't able to understand what he said at first of this lesson.

Is it " I would have prefered coffee?", "I would have called you?"
I'm confused. How abt you?
And is it a common pronunciation in America?
I can't catch up it at all.

Yes his pronunciation is a little bit confusing for non native speakers.

You're correct; he is saying "I would have prefered coffee" and "I would have called you" but he is pronouncing it as

"I woulda preferred coffee" or "I'da preferred coffee"
"I woulda called you" or "I'da called you".

This elision is quite common in American English.  Hope that helps!

Why learn Appalachian hillbilly English? No one understands them anyhow because they don't have any teeth!  :P
But seriously, they'da  is a bit of a stretch. I'm not going to call my class ''ưangbana'''because some grandma in gyeongsangdo called me that on the bus.
