jeoparody game! ignore the first slide as i edited each of the subsequent ones myself, feel free to change any of the questions/answers ofc.

the way i played it (as it was a little different from the actual jeopardy):
  • first team picks a category and a price
  • i give them some time and if they don't give an answer after a few moments, i count down slowly from 5 (there is a timer but the timer goes too fast and adds too much pressure/difficulty; if your students are higher level, i say go for it!)
  • if they answer wrong or don't answer, they lose those points; correct answer, they win those points
  • if they answer wrong or don't answer, the other teams can play rps to decide who gets to try answering first; they don't lose points if they're wrong, it just goes to next team
  • whatever team answers correct gets 100 less points than original amount (so $400 instead of $500)
  • if all teams answer wrong, i give 1 hint and the points go down another 100
  • final jeopardy has the longest answer. traditional rules say the teams bet points, so i had the teams bet points if they wanted to challenge and then play rps to decide who went first. if a team was close to the correct answer, they won the points

the $500 question for "what do you do on weekends?" was probably the hardest for 95% of my classes, fyi! lmk if y'all have any questions or if anything is confusing.

i took a jeopardy template from http://youthdownloads.com and edited it to make a review game, but it won't let me upload the file here because it's too big. this is my first time posting something, so is there a way i can still share the file or work around the size limit? please let me know and i'll edit this post!

You can upload it to google drive and share it that way. I'm not sure if there's any rules about it but I see others do it.

I used Stefaneekaye's Production X 101 template to make a review bomb game for lessons 1-6.

Speaking and writing review games for units 1~6 .

FOR GO FISH, PRINT 2 COPIES OF CARDS TO MAKE 1 SET FOR 1 TEAM.

For writing game, have S's work in teams using "mini white boards" (or whatever) . Team chooses and writes one sentence, each S writes on individual board.  All S's in a team must get the sentence correct to earn points.
