I based my game on this textbook because I actually thought it was a neat idea. I haven't actually tried out the game but I might post how it went afterwards.

So how I prepared the students:
Went over the active words - airport, passport, immigration office, flags
Went over key expressions - Hello, where are you from? How do you spell your name?

Then what I had prepared was a mystery bag that had plastic balls inside of it (22 balls for each of my 22 students, just think of those plastic easter egg balls that you can easily open) and each ball had a piece of paper that said: I'm from ______. So each student is from a different country essentially. 22 different countries I prepared but you can modify depending on the amount of your students.

THEN I had them make a passport (literally just cut white paper in half, and then give them that cut piece of paper and ask them to fold it in half. They decorated the front cover of their passport with:

COUNTRY NAME
PICTURE (anything they want to draw)
PASSPORT

*their pieces of paper that had I'm from ____ also had pictures of the countries just in case the students had no idea what it was.

So let them color and decorate their passport. Next students are separated into two groups - Tourists and Officers.

The officers are given a country flag (they can choose) and will tape down the flag on their desk. Then we organize the desks to be separated across the room in two rows. On one side are the officers and the tourists can line up in front of the country they want to go through first. Explain that the officers will ask two questions (key expressions) and tourists have to answer correctly. If they do, they get a "stamp" on their passport. This would have been great if I had 11 stamps for each officer lol so if not, just ask the officers to draw a specific picture to represent the country flag.

Then they switch and tourists become officers and vice versa.

Most of them are just versions of older materials found on the site and modified to suit the current textbook.
