I use this video with talk together.

It goes along with the textbook CD for part two of chapter 6 except the voices are changed.

Memory game works well for this lesson. Print out two sets of each card. I tell my students they can match the pictures, picture and the sentence, or the sentences. It took them about 10-15 mins to play one game.

Here's my Intro ppt for this lesson.  The other three files are files from the CD/website I used to make the intro ppt. (I culled some pics from them.)

L6P1 was just intro to new words and expressions, Look and Listen, Listen and Do and the Picture Telepathy game. Please note when I show the slide with all six ailments I have the students stand up and repeat my words and actions for each ailment. Then I say a sentence and they do the action. You could make it more exciting by having another student come up and say sentences for the rest of the class to act out.

Here's the link to the video I used for motivation. It is a South African ad for headache medication. I asked which word they heard again and again; why they think it's said so many times and why they think they stopped saying the word.

The Mp4 file is a short episode of 'Larva' - the two characters eat some bad 'shrooms and get sick.

I read about this game Typhoon online and usually people play it by drawing a grid on the board and revealing points as they go. Decided just to make it into a PPT.  Like a bomb game, but instead of students picking which question they will answer the teacher just gives their team a question and they pick a point box to try and get points or "Typhoon" to destroy another team's points.

I made questions in the PPT and if you click the "What's wrong?" boxes they link back to the points page. To get to a question from the points page just hit the slide number on your keyboard and then Enter and it will go to that slide.

Played this for part 3 of lesson six after teaching students some new phrases like, "I have a broken arm/leg" and "I have a rash."

Also, while PInk Fong songs might seem too childish for sixth grade, my sixth graders were entertained by this song:

I like how this video introduces new expressions like, "You got a stomach bug" and "You should have some soup."
