PowerPoint Games that Can Show Random Online GIF
« on: February 19, 2019, 04:17:00 pm »
Hi. Is it possible to create a scoreboard in PowerPoint (or some other software)  that shows a random animated GIF that I stored online? Thanks in advance.

In PowerPoint It is possible to link to images stored online and there are ways to randomly display images. If you were to give a more detailed description about what you are trying to do, I think I might be able to help you.

Answers that would help:
  • What do you mean by scoreboard? Are the GIFs points?
  • How many different GIFs would you like to be able to choose from?
  • Will multiple GIFs need to be shown at the same time?
  • Where are the GIFs stored online?
  • How will these GIFs appear on your scoreboard? Will it be after clicking something?

Ditto with the questions. If you're just looking for random GIFs, here's 30: http://bit.ly/2ISJhO2

For quick speaking exercises, at the beginning of the year I have all of my students quickly add a GIF to a Google Presentation. If you do that for all of your classes, then combine them- you're good to go for a long time.
