CRBA birth abroad
« on: February 17, 2019, 10:55:35 am »
If anyone has experience with this not to long ago, please answer.

I'm an American and my wife is Korean? Our son is 18 months and now we are applying for a US birth certificate for him. Does anyone know if we need to use the same template as the one for the Korean birth certificate?

The birth certificate needs to be in English or translated with a certified notary stamp. Most hospitals will be able to make a birth certificate in English.

Be sure it includes:
Childs full name
Parents full names
Dob
Sex
And has the hospital stamp

Check out expat dads in korea on Facebook. Great group and loads of information.
