Cleaning Toilets at McDonald's
« on: February 14, 2019, 04:30:28 pm »
Now at McDonald's they expect customers to do these things:

1-input your order using a terminal
2-act as a waiter and carry food to the table
3-clean up the table when your done eating
4-act as a waiter again and bring your tray to the garbage station
5-act as a recycling center worker and separate materials into each compartment

Where is this crap going to end? Cleaning toilets next?

Personally I don't do 1, 3, 4, 5

DeMartino probably loves it. Much more sociable than one of those boring restaurants where they do everything for you

You don't clean your table after you eat at fast food? What are you? A pig?

jesus christ. OP probably also leaves his coffee mug on the table in cafes instead of taking to the "please put cups here" station because "why should i do it? i'm a paying customer!", or throws rubbish on the ground as he "doesn't want to put anyone out of a job"

With the minimum wage going up, restaurants  are trying to deploy automated kiosks as fast as they can. It"ll be the norm soon.

I don't think this is as good a slam as you think it is.  :undecided:

This whole topic seems like a troll but...

We're talking about McDonald's right? The bottom of the barrel when it comes to "quality"? If you want all that done for you, go somewhere fancy. It's not like you're paying a premium just to eat there. And it's definitely not like people are working for tips. I'm sorry you can't take two minutes out of your day to clean up after yourself and throw garbage out. I imagine you're very pleasant with waiters in other restaurants as well.

Can you guys say, baaaaaaaaaah?  That's what sheep do.  Can you do it?

McDonald's made almost 23 billion dollars in 2017. Of that around 5.2 billion
was sweet, sweet profit.

How did they do that?  They pay employees next to nothing and get SUCKERS
like you to clean and wait tables for free.

Baaaaaaaaah, baaaaaaaaaaaah!

McDonalds I've been to in Korea have always been relatively clean.
I feel sorry for KFC staff. Anytime I've been into one of their restuarants there is a maximum of 2 staff members. The one at Yongsan ipark at the ktx station is always insanely busy and there are 2 poor teenagers trying to manage it all. As such the tables, floors etc are covered in a thin veener of grease and slime
Doubt it's ever cleaned during ooening hours.

One of the few occasions where me an Martin are 100% in agreement.

What is fast food?

A) Cheap
B) Quickly in your mouth

How is it cheap? Because you do some of the heavy lifting. That means going to get your meal, taking your tray to the station to dispose of your crap. It's quickly in your mouth because the staff that are there are all focused on the one thing you can't do, preparing the meal.

Is this weird? Is this new? Jesus, this is how fast food has worked for decades, we've all agreed on the system. Except you.

And I could literally go behind the counter of a Taco Bell and do it. If you've ever worked in a restaurant on a makeline, you know how to make Taco Bell.

I meant in the sense that you're not allowed to go behind the counter, hahahahahaha, but that works.

Why don't you put your money where your mouth is? Go to the nearest McDonald's and offer to bus people's tables for 500-1000 won a pop and see who takes you up on that. There's no market for it, because no one is willing to pay for it.

If you need to leave trash behind at a McDonald's in order to make yourself feel big, you must be one small pathetic so-called man.

Dude, it's a matter of God damn dignity and respect, if you can't understand that, I can only assume nobody has taught it to you and you were a rather spoilt child. I don't care if Mcdonalds CEOs make 100 quadrillion dollars a day and I'm wearing a $60000 Patek on my wrist and have a million dollar supercar parked outside, I'm never too grand to use my  serviette to wipe my table clean and put my rubbish in the bin, I don't want anyone cleaning up after me like a damn baby.

By your logic, you'd crap in the street and justify it by saying the fat cats in the council get paid a huge salary so they can clean it up.

Whenever I buy stuff at Emart, I take it out of the packaging in the lobby and put the raw goods in my backpack. I then proceed to throw the packaging all over floor.

Also, I stare menacingly at the ajummas who work there. And why shouldn't I? They always give me dirty looks whilst doing my trash packaging dance in the lobby.

One would think a better way to demonstrate that you disapprove of a company's business practices is to stop giving them your money, but I guess leaving your big mac box on the table works, too.

Terrible troll thread aside, this can be answered with a Jim Jefferies reference:

We aren't animals
We live in a society

Clean up after yourself :)

Also, lets say you got McDonald's delivered, going by this same logic, would you also want the delivery boy to just wait for you to eat and finish then take your trash away? Just curious.
