Has anyone heard that Costco will no longer accept Samsung credit cards ?
If they do that , will everyone have to pay cash only ?

I think they're switching card partners.

I got a notice about it. It said that starting  next year(? or December something) that Samsung card will no longer be the only card accepted. Meaning that cash, and any other card will be accepted.

They did a similar thing in Canada ~5 years ago (Amex -> MasterCard) and USA a couple years ago (Amex -> Visa).

After the US change, Korean Costco started taking any foreign Visa Card (used to be Amex).

I wonder if they are going to keep Visa available for foreigners?

Really? Not just Hyundai cards?

They don't accept debit payments like the Costco stores in Canada do.

They don't accept debit payments like the Costco stores in Canada do.
That’s because Canada has the low fee “Interac” network. Here, debit cards ride alongside credit cards.

They're still pushing the Samsung card in Costco.

I use my TD Visa here, but they wouldn't take it in Canada last summer.
