Hi,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGzNBMR9qYA

This is a finished project for a DMOE Global Bridge project.  I had an after school class at a girls high school with 5 students.  The school wanted them to read 'What men live by' by Tolstoy and one of the short stories was 'Three Questions' which we had to review through film.   The girls were quite shy to act on camera so we made a shadow play of the story.

We made the stage using a box and some kitchen greace proof paper.  Then cut out characters and attached chop sticks to them to move about.  We filmed it and recorded the dialogue all in one lesson.  The students were happy with the final result.

I have attached a PPT I used for key words and also a rough script I wrote- using chunks of paragraphs from the book.

I hope this helps if you are looking to do something similar with your students who maybe camera shy or you are just looking for an idea to review a story.  ;D
