New Vid! A "Strawberry Creamy Slide beer from Busan."

Very strange beer and I don't know if I enjoyed it or not. But, it's worth talking about!

I went down to Seosan, ChungNam and went to an amazing craft beer brewery called Chillhops, led by Master Brewer Nick Lennan.

He ia making some amazing stuff and I had the chance to interview him and get a little peek inside the actual brewery.

That's a good one. Really enjoyed watching it. Because I've always been a dedicated lager/pilsner drinker, I never knew those kinds of beer existed. Eye opening. That place looks like it's only an hour or so from where I live. I'd enjoy an afternoon sampling his brews. Maybe come summer.

Oh damn. Some youtuber with 91 000 subs wants to invite me to a brewery with him to film together.

Considering I have 514....... that's pretty sick!

Good stuff CO2. If you're catching the eye of the big guns, you know you're doing more than okay.

One more thing. Just curious.  I (and I assume others) have a look at most of you stuff, but do it from here, not over on Youtube. Would it be better for you with regards to likes/comments etc, to watch your videos over there?

Rub shoulders.

That is an accomplishment.

When I told my students I met Lee Hyo-ri they went bat-**** crazy. It was a calm Saturday afternoon on Jeju Island (i taught there for 7 years so this ain't some lottery win) and I went into a cafe at Hamdeok beach one summer morning and there she sat with a friend. I didn't notice her. I noticed several people STARING at her. Having interviewed the Prime Minister of Canada (when a newspaper reporter), i didn't hesitate to walk up to her and chat. She was delightful.

Hmmmm, I can't imagine it makes a difference regarding my view count, which is important, but yes, the more likes/comments I get, the better overall the video does as far as being "promoted" on the front page, in recommend sections etc.

There's an un-manned, self-serve Makgeolli restaurant in Gyeonggi-do in Gunpo.

Like, subscribe... send me a beer, whatever you feel like doing.
Wait, is there a service in Korea that does this?
I know you can send flowers and stuff, but a beer/telegram service would be pretty novel!

Although... I'm worried that if I did find such a service and sent you a beer, I'd receive in return a long and scathing review on it...

There's a few makgeollis on Coupang that ship and I know that JoEun Sool in Pyeongtaek make most of their sales from shipping directly to the consumer (I have bought from them) but I've been told it's illegal to ship beer by mail in Korea. Not sure if that's a hard rule/no exceptions kind of thing, but...............

I'm being mailed beer for free by a brewer hahaha he said he's not selling it so it's not illegal. Someone watched my vid, went to his brewery from DAEGU and dropped 200 000W, so he's thanking me by giving me free beer.

#blessed

Beer can only be sold and delivered if it's part of a food order from a restaurant.

Traditional alcohols have a special status and can be purchased online and delivered.

Grats on the return on your efforts!
I've enjoyed your videos as well, especially the travel aspect of them. Next time a friend asks me "what's cool in xyz city", I can refer them to some hoity toity booze place mentioned in one of your vids.
