SHOCK as 8.4million Britons reveal they shower just once a week

OK, now I understand Brexit.  It is simply not possible to understand things
like comparative advantage and economies of scale if you are struggling with
basics like simple hygiene.

wait, showering just once a week isn't normal? does having a chav shower mid-week count as a second weekly shower?

People in the UK also have baths in their bathrooms

I think that's just the cider they pour over themselves.

I remember when I was a kid, my dad telling me that Brits were dirty and only bathed once a month. So by the sounds of it, things have improved to once a week.

As I said before, the headline doesn't include the times they bathe (in a bath)

Anyone else heard the rumors about British people being filthy? Don't know if it's true... Maybe a stereotype?
Worked with an English guy once. Had a bowl cut like a Korean and pencil moustache like John Waters. Quite a character. Anyway, he stunk. He stunk bad. I imagine he bathed once to twice a week max. Which is strange because his moustache required some upkeep and most people do their ablutions at the same time.

The manager confronted him infront of all of us, quite uncomfortable. He looked to us for support "I don't smell, do I guys?".... Sorry mate. You do. Take a goddamn shower you animal. He did a midnight runner a week later. I often think of him.

That's why 48 hour antiperspirant deodorant is so popular over there.

We should be commending the island of Britain for it's continued efforts of preserving earth's precious water resources.

Oh man I went to the UK earlier this year and damn. It's 2018 and people there haven't discovered deodorant or antiperspirant yet?

They are actually using more water because when they aren't having a shower, they're having a bath.

Not sure this is true if a family spends over x amount of time having individual showers as opposed to running 1 bath.

You can get away with that with little kids, but I'm not sure adults would be happy to share bath water.
