I've resigned...What's next?
« on: August 23, 2018, 10:44:44 am »
So, I've just been home for a week, and due to some personal family related reasons, I have needed to resign and return home for a bit longer.

I've never done this before , so my question is, now that I've just signed my resignation letter yesterday and have a month left before I leave, is there anything that I need to collect, or do before I leave Korea? get a copy of my taxes that were paid here? anything to do with pension fund... it can't just be as simple as signing a resignation letter and collecting my last pay when the day comes, can it?

Here's a link to the epik website that has a checklist of administrative tasks to complete through your contract.

Eventually you cannot collect your contract completion bonus.
But as for pension, if you can collect that, do it before you go.
